About This Game Award-winning Black Isle Studios unleashes an epic RPG like no other. In the 12th century, a supernatural catastrophe tore the fabric of reality, unleashing spirits and magic, forever changing medieval Earth. Cast into this world and besieged by spirits and power groups, you must gain allies, take up arms and find your destiny. To the common folk, magic was something to be feared and undoubtedly the handiwork of evil demons. People across Europe sought protection from the forces of evil and therefore relinquished utter control of their lives to the Inquisition. To this day, the Inquisition still governs most of civilized Europe, directly or indirectly. In their relentless hunt for heretical wizards and magical creatures the Inquisition inspires awe and faith among many, and is despised and feared by others.Choose your champion – Feralkin, Sylvant, Demonkin, or Human Pureblood – and align yourself with the Knights Templar, the Inquisition, or the Wielders. Explore 16th century Europe, twisted and changed by magic, and encounter the likes of Leonardo da Vinci and Galileo. An original story set in a warped alternative timelineMeet historical characters such as Leonardo da Vinci, Gallileo and ShakespeareOne of the greatest, if often overlooked, RPGs of all time 7aa9394dea Title: Lionheart: Legacy of the CrusaderGenre: Adventure, RPGDeveloper:Reflexive EntertainmentPublisher:Interplay Entertainment Corp.Release Date: 13 Aug, 2003 Lionheart: Legacy Of The Crusader Full Crack [cheat] This is quite possibly one of the worst games I've ever played in my life, and I'm a *huge* fan of older games (everything from Ultima to Wizardry to Might and Magic to Baldur's Gate and so many more). What I'm saying is that the game isn't bad because it's old, it's bad because they didn't put any effort into it.For a new player, character creation is an absolute nightmare. The graphics are extremely blurry and unappealing. The music is bland. The story is very lackluster. I just can't see a reason to play it.. I love this game it has made me very happy as a kid. Its full of diferent ways to deal with situations and enemies. My actual play-time on the savegame is 24 hours and 3 minutes. Didn't manage to initially get the counter working with DXWnd and by the time I did, it was too late.I played a demo version of Lionheart probably around 2003 and was instantly enamored with Barcelona. It later turns out the start of the game is also by far the strongest part, but these few hours exploring the magnificently beautiful streets, mingling with Machiavelli, da Vinci, Shakespeare, Fawkes, Shylocke, Cortes, Cervantes\/Quixote, Saladin, Torquemada, Faust and Galileo make this game worth trying out. Mongols are depicted as goblins, Nostradamus is no longer just a man and a war breaks out between Spain and England part of which is confrontation between the magic of the Inquisition and of the Druids. It sounds wacky writing this all down but somehow the dark fantasy world created for Lionheart plays out very well.It feels kind of half-baked with few gear choices, imbalanced characters, too few perks and mostly generic dungeon clearing in the later parts of the game. Feels like it was hurried along and the end result isn't as good as the art, voice acting, and musical score would have allowed. The 'imbalanced characters' part is why you must hit it right with your build or otherwise risk being disappointed by the difficulty. Like most old school RPGs, Lionheart doesn't baby sit and you can easily get in way over your head.I also wrote a small guide for it: https:\/\/steamcommunity.com\/sharedfiles\/filedetails\/?id=1538830292. I bought this game because I enjoyed it when I was younger. Now I don't have to feel guilty when playing.I can't fight monsters in real life so I do it in this game. This game also lets me sweet talk anyone, including the final boss, into submission. Something else I can't do for real. Great.. Best RPG I've ever played. It rivals skyrim, despite its much smaller size. Severly underrated.. I think this game was the very first RPG I ever stepped into off some Random PC Gamer magazine demo disc. For that, I give it praise, I made many builds back in the day after seeing a single copy at a games store about two years later (2005-6?) -Back then it was visually astounding, today, for its style it still has a nice look\/feel about it. However you can easily "gimp" your character in this game (as well as others during the time like Diablo) - Either not following a distinct build hard enough (Melee, Archery, Magic) or being too diverse (spreading stats into every talent) can make your character vunrable especially coupled with the pretty chaotic fighting mechanics. Most of the time you will press <p> to pause during fights to heal\/switch weapons etc as Its hard to keep track of health\/enemies attacks. Always remember to save aswell, this game can be luring into exploration and then suddenly 5 Large Zombie Skeletons spawn in and you have no hope.Honestly, I only bought this game because I felt the need to pay homage to a demo disc that created a love for AdvRPG's in general many years ago. Its clunky, potentially frustrating but overall creates an experiance it sets out to and has an interesting storyline. In 2002: 10\/10in 2018 5\/10 (but 10 for nostalgia). Even tough not as popular like Diablo 2 or Sacred , this game also offers a good hack and slash RPG experience, there are tons of options for character customization, the story is good and can be played from many perspectives (factions), which also boosts replayabilty. Those who love the hack'n slash RPG genre should definitely give this a try.. This game is a bit of a mixed bag. The beginning in Barcelona is a lot of fun, visually appealing (despite aging poorly), decent voice acting and overall fun. There are issues in the start area, mainly talk your way out or fight it out. Many skills are totally irrelevant and the import\/export mechanic allows for some rather interesting builds. After finishing France, the studio was running out of money and it shows, the voice acting almost totally disappears and the quests just become a slog through dungeons packed with monsters. It turns from a fun and reasonably light Diabloesqe RPG into a brutal slog that is a major pain in the A** to complete. If it was not for the easily abused import\/export mechanic I would have never finished the game. BTW fix the texture bug on Windows 10 devices it's frustrating to see, also so form of multiplayer servers would be greatly appreciated.EDIT: Buy this game from GOG, it comes with the DLC which is a must if you want to go pyromancer and it doesn't have the texture bug. This is a game that reminds me of Baldur's Gate. While not on that level... by any stretch, it is a great game with an interesting plot.As I tend to play when offline, my playtime stat is a bit... low comparatively (since Steam doesn't do a good job with sinc'ing up such things).. win10 has texture bug\uff0cplease fix it and I will change to good comment
